They say if you can’t beat them, join them!  In my sixty-five (65) years on this earth, I have never engaged a realtor to help me buy or sell property.  It was actually a seasoned realtor who opened my eyes to the simplicity of selling property: a concise document detailing the property, an agreed-upon price, and a few signatures is all it took. With that knowledge, I ventured forth independently until I met someone special..a seasoned real estate agent who would later become my wife.

In my now almost 30 years in the photography business, I never once thought I would dive into real estate photography. Robin, my wife, came into my life in 2022. With over 31 years in the real estate industry, she is a licensed agent and co-owner of her own agency alongside her daughter. As our relationship deepened, she encouraged me to photograph listings for her. Her daughter, a successful real estate agent, broker, and photographer herself, introduced me to the art of capturing the perfect shot—helping me navigate the best angles and lighting to showcase properties in their finest form. After 25+ years in wedding, portrait, sports, and event photography, I found this new challenge thoroughly enjoyable. Let the fun begin!

Under their guidance, I started working with smaller properties to build my skills without the stress of portrait poses or fleeting blinks. Despite its challenges, I discovered that real estate photography was quite fulfilling. Both Robin and her daughter provided valuable feedback, which helped me improve quickly. (Have you ever tried to impress a couple of discerning realtors?). I quickly learned how to go above and beyond to capture the best images, paying close attention to the fine details to ensure we deliver the utmost quality for our clients. (And yes! Always remember to put those toilet lids down!).

So here I am, once again embracing my passion for photography while exploring a new dimension of my craft.
